Former Goa Airport Director, Gagan Malik, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and is stationed at Pune International Airport in Lohegaon.

He said he would look into the upcoming new Pune airport upgrade projects, including the new terminal building and multi-level parking garage. The airport will provide the best amenities for the people of Pune.

The multi-storey car park will be completed in July this year and the new terminal building by January next year.

The Pune airport expansion project involves the construction of a new terminal building for Rs 400 crore, a multi-level parking garage for Rs 120 crore and a new cargo complex for approximately Rs 300 crore.
