On March 26, 2023, Russian airline Aeroflot increased the frequency of its flight services on the Delhi (DEL) - Moscow (SVO) route to seven times a week, from four weekly flights previously.
In addition, the airline has begun operating a Boeing 777 aircraft alongside an Airbus A330 to accommodate passenger traffic between the two major cities.
Dr Naveen Rao, Director of Delmos Aviation, said: "We have flown four weekly flights so far. This increase in frequency is long overdue, as the number of passengers has increased to a good extent. We expect a further increase in the student and tourist movement, apart from the business visitors. With the summer season ahead, it will boost tourism for both countries, India and Russia.
