International organization ACI has rated Delhi Airport as one of the best airports and the cleanest airport in the Asia-Pacific region.

DIAL's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), which serves more than 40 million passengers annually, won the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Best Airport Award for 2022. (MPPA). In addition, the Airports Council International has ranked it as the cleanest airport in the Asia-Pacific (ACI) region.

ACI is a group of airport managers that is non-profit. A partnership between GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd. and Delhi International Airport Ltd.

Airports Authority of India (AAI) stated in a separate press release that Tiruchirappalli International Airport has been named the best airport in the Asia-Pacific region by ACI for less than 2 million passengers.

Tiruchirappalli Airport in Tamil Nadu is operated by the AAI, owned by the government.
