Adani Group is reportedly planning to build real estate projects in addition to its airports in the country in addition to its aviation and non-aviation (terminal) business.

According to the company's reports, Adani Airports plans to develop approximately 70 million square feet on more than 500 acres of land at all of its airports as part of its urban projects portfolio. These "air cities" will consist of a combination of hotels, conference centers, retail, entertainment and healthcare facilities, logistics, commercial offices and other related real estate categories.

According to the sources, the company is in early negotiations with hospitality chains such as Marriott International, InterContinental Properties Group (IHG) and Hilton about setting up hotels on this model.
