Bechtel Engineering and Construction India has won a contract from Tata Projects to support the completion of the new Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh.

Tata Projects recently won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International. The work will include construction of the terminal, runways and airside infrastructure, roads, utilities, landside facilities and associated buildings.

Bechtel India said it looked forward to supporting the construction of this "exciting and ambitious airport".

This is Bechtel's first partnership with an airport in India, although it became an integrated delivery partner for Dublin Airport's capital investment program last year.
