To become the first greenfield digital airport in the nation, the future Noida International Airport (NIA) near Jewar has selected ICAD Holding Ltd as its Master System Integrator (MSI) consultant.

According to the DigiYatra strategy of the national government, in the context of the digital objectives of the airport, processing would be paperless at all checkpoints.

Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) told media that ICAD would assist the facility with system integration design, integration program management, and integration of ICT and airport systems as part of its mandate.

The company, which specializes in the design, installation, integration and maintenance of information and communication technology (ICT) systems needed to build a modern, digital airport, will also lead the implementation and integration of the primary airport systems.

YIAPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss developer Zurich Airport International AG, has been included as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to develop Noida International Airport.

YIAPL said that with the adoption of advanced technology to provide smooth and largely contactless flow through the airport, supported by integrated systems, services and the use of technologies such as indoor navigation, passenger flow management and data analytics, NIA would set a new benchmark as a digital airport.

According to the media sources, ICAD has cooperated exclusively with Wipro Ltd. and Ross & Baruzzini from USA to provide comprehensive MSI consulting services to YIAPL.
