Garuda Aerospace, a leading Indian drone manufacturer, has announced plans to double its drone production capacity by FY26, aiming to meet the growing demand for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) across sectors. The company’s expansion strategy focuses on scaling up production to meet the needs of agriculture, infrastructure and defence industries.
Currently, Garuda Aerospace produces around 10,000 drones annually, but with increased investments in its facilities, production is expected to cross 20,000 drones by FY26. The company is capitalizing on India’s growing reliance on technology-driven solutions in sectors such as precision farming, surveying and disaster management.
Agri-drones are one of the key growth areas for Garuda Aerospace, especially as the government and private players pursue advanced agricultural technologies. The company’s drones are also used in infrastructure surveillance and defense applications, further diversifying its customer base.
As the global drone market grows and India positions itself as a major player, Garuda Aerospace’s ambitious expansion plan could strengthen its competitive position, drive innovation and cater to growing domestic and international demand.
