Tata Projects Ltd (TPL), the infrastructure and construction arm of the Tata group, has emerged as the lowest bidder of three companies in the final battle for the award of civil construction works for the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.

Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) commenced its electronic request for quotation (e-RFQ) in April 2021 through two Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts: package-1 related to the construction of the terminal building and package-2 for landside, airside and associated works.

In March 2022, technical bids were opened to reveal three bidders: Tata Projects (TPL), Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Shapoorji Pallonji (SP).
